Privacy policy — Open Sheets with 1 Click
Effective date: September 9, 2026. Published by Autostrike Group LLC.
Open Sheets with 1 Click is a macOS utility that imports local spreadsheets into a Google account you choose.
Information used
When you connect Google, the app receives a stable Google account identifier, your verified email address, and authorization tokens. These let the app list your connected accounts and upload files to the account you select. Account records and refresh tokens are stored in macOS Keychain on your Mac. Access tokens are kept in memory.
When you open a spreadsheet, its name and contents are sent directly from your Mac to Google's Drive API for conversion into a Google Sheet. The developer does not operate a server that receives your spreadsheet contents. Google processes the uploaded data under its own terms and privacy policy.
The app requests access only to specific Google Drive files used with the app, along with your email address and basic account identity. It does not request access to your entire Drive, Gmail, contacts, or calendar.
Purchases and free opens
Apple processes in-app purchases. The app uses StoreKit to check purchase entitlements and restore purchases. The developer does not receive your payment card details. A local counter in Keychain records successful opens to enforce the five-open allowance. The counter is shared across connected Google accounts on that Mac and is not synced by the app between Macs.
Local settings and history
Your default account choice and optional move-to-Trash preference are saved locally. Recent file names and links, and queued file paths, remain in memory for the current app session. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs in this app.
Your choices
You choose which files to upload and which connected Google account receives them. Removing an account in the app removes its locally stored credentials. You can revoke Google access at Google Account connections. Removing an account does not delete spreadsheets already created in Google Drive; manage those directly in Drive.
The app keeps original local files unless you enable the move-to-Trash setting. Each upload creates a new Google Sheet; later edits do not synchronize back to the original file.
Use of Google data
The app uses Google user data only to provide its spreadsheet import and account selection features. It does not sell this data or use it for advertising or training generalized AI models. Its use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
